Apple Tree Creative English School in Majadahonda was founded in 2009 and offers both parents and children a chance to fuse both Spanish and Anglo cultures by offering a range of classes and events for families.
The Apple Tree Club offers a morning preschool for children from 18 months to 5 years. There are 3 teachers and a maximum of 24 children. The teachers are fully qualified preschool teachers who have practice in an international environment The preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage programme as set by the British Department of Education and also use the Jolly Phonics programme to help children learn proper English pronunciation.
The mornings begin with greeting the children, circle time, greeting the children, and discussing the ongoing project or theme of the week. After this, the children have the opportunity to learn and play and explore through different activities such as books, playdough, playing house, dress-up, art&crafts, and more. After activity time there is snack time, followed by music time, and finally, before going, home story time which usually relates to the topic of the week. The activities are carefully planned to follow the curriculum of the Early Years Foundation Stage programme.
